Deadly Bow-and-Arrow Incident Triggers Dramatic Standoff in New Jersey
A man was arrested following a fatal bow-and-arrow attack in Kearny, New Jersey, which led to a prolonged standoff with police. The incident began Saturday evening when a man was found dead with an arrow in his back. The suspect barricaded himself in a home, which he later set on fire, prompting a response from Hudson County SWAT teams. Residents were evacuated or instructed to stay indoors as negotiations unfolded. After more than 12 hours, the suspect surrendered on Sunday afternoon, armed with knives. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is continuing its investigation and plans to file charges against the suspect on Monday.
